Dynamona Divani Arctica was a very special child. Born in Neo Nightdyne City, she left the womb with half black/half blue hair, courtesy of her father, Zero's genetics. Equally special, is the fact that her mother, was Zero's long-time nemesis, the equally formidable Neo Nightdyne Mafia head hitwoman, Poyzon, proving without a doubt that love conquers all. And even though her life was in constant danger thanks to her parents' jobs, little Dynamo admired them both, especially when they both joined the Neo Nightdyne Police Department - usually getting in the way of their missions. Though in addition to her bravery, was an ever-present lack of common sense, which gave young DD more trouble than she bargained for on her own. Yet, determined to be supercops like her parents, she taught herself to negate whatever unpleasant consequences followed her actions. Unfortunately, Dynamo's carefree attitude was shattered after the tragic deaths of her parents in the earth-shaking battle vs. King Armageddon.

Their final request, was for Rocket and Jenni to take her in, and thus Dynamo was formally adopted by the Wallace family. Given the circumstances, she grew up with Rocket's daughter, Nona Jade...better known as Nyne. The two girls, although incredibly different, shared a strong bond with one another. Dynamo would follow Nyne from the streets of Catalpa City, all the way to the rooftops. It was during this quality time, where Nyne shared bits and pieces of her own combat skills with Dynamo, for prior to that time, the funky-haired girl had zero experience in battle of any sort. As she grew older, Dynamo became the spitting image of her parents, from vigilante work, all the way to fufilling her dream: joining the Neo Nightdyne Police Department. However, that didn't last long, for repeated incompetence cost her the job, and as a result, Dynamo turned to Jenni for a plan B. The timing couldn't have been better, for Jenni was forming a young super team to continue where her old team left off..."Second Generation".

Dynamo is capable of internally generating and externally transmitting well over 2000 V of direct current (DC) electricity, which is overkill to an average human being. While has yet to reach her potential output, she is well-trained in harnessing such raw power. The raw electricity coursing throughout her body supplies Dynamo with an excess amount of energy, keeping her awake and functional for as long as she wishes, and allowing her to display unique talents, such as dilating her pupils to make images upon her eyes. However, to comply with her health, she rarely takes advantage of the supercharge, preferring to rest periodically. Underlying these abilities, is the cursed Arctica Angel Gene, which affects those of the Arctica bloodline in instances of "3-0-0". In Dynamo's case, her powers shut off completely during the eastern time zone hours of 3:00 AM and PM, reactivating at 4:00 AM and PM, respectively. During those hours, she is equivalent to a normal human.
