A former supermodel, she blazed catwalks from Eltribia to Arionia, leaving nothing behind but wide eyes and flashing cameras. Although her adoring public was mesmerized by her elegance, Dita always felt that her line of work was never permanent - that she could not be a pretty face forever. As much as she tried to suppress it, her doubt followed her all over the world, eating away at her brain like a cancer. Then, Dita turned 24. Despite her still incredible looks, she thought her career was coming to a close. She had to do everything in her power to save it, not because of her vanity, rather...because looking good was all she knew. So without a moment's hesitation, Dita sought a plastic surgeon to make sure her face stayed the way it is for as long as she could afford it. A date was set, and it eventually came. Dita went under the knife. For the first time in her life, she was nervous. The mask came down, and she was put to sleep...

Although the pay paled in comparison to that of the 21st century, Van Hyzer determined to bring justice to those wronged by malpractice like she was. Dita's body looked just as stunning as it looked before she disappeared, but only one thing changed - her face. Covered by a brass mask, a smile that once captivated the world was replaced by an emotionless facade...which hid a newfound contempt for pretty faces. A feeling, that warped her sense of justice. That contempt however, was not beyond the promise of astronomical wealth Vallentina offered...

Dita Van Hyzer does not possess any superpowers, but she has genius-level intelligence. With an encyclopedic knowledge of law, she is capable of finding all cracks and loopholes in any criminal justice system on the planet. Thus, she is considered just as much - if not, more of a threat than any supervillain. Van Hyzer is also an amazing liar, having trained herself to discard all suspicious speaking patterns and mannerisms in the act. Through absolving herself of any guilt while executing these actions, it is nearly impossible to arrest, or incarcerate her for any misdeed she performs, making her virtually untouchable in the court of law. A large part of Dita's success in this field, is due to the mask she wears. Completely obscuring her face, the mask is 100% solid, lacking holes of any sort for her eyes or mouth.
